Q. How do I find participating pharmacies and compare prices? (Retail)
A. Tap Check Prices or call 800.800.7616 Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 7:00 pm, and Saturday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Central Time to find participating pharmacies and compare prices.

 

Q. Is this a co-pay insurance card? (Retail)
A. No. This membership is a discount card offering reduced prices. You are responsible to pay the pharmacy 100% of the discounted price.

 

 
Q. What if the pharmacy doesn't recognize the card's name? (Retail)
A. Always make inquiries in person and be sure to bring your card with you. If the pharmacy still has questions, have them call the Pharmacist Help Desk number on the back of your membership card.

 

 
Q. Why didn't I get a discount at the participating pharmacy? (Retail)
A. Many pharmacies price some prescriptions at or below cost in order to draw customers to their store. If you present your discount card and the price is higher than the pharmacy’s retail rate or sale price, you will always pay the lowest price available.

 

 
Q. Will I always get a discount when I use my membership card? (Retail)
A. Not necessarily. Each pharmacy determines their own retail pricing.

 

 
Q. How do I qualify for the Prescription Assistance Program (PAP)? (Mail Order)
A. If the medication you need is available for the PAP, it will be prominently displayed in the search, directing you to request the program. A Customer Care Assistant will respond to your request within 24 hours to see if you qualify. Qualifications can depend on the medication, but common ones include having no prescription insurance coverage or meeting program income guidelines.

 

 
Q. How long does it take to get prescriptions mailed to me? (Mail Order)
A. You should allow 10-14 days for the prescription to be filled and delivered in the mail.

Q. What if I lose my pet ID tag?
A. Please call Pet Assure immediately and you will be sent a replacement within one business day.
 
 
Q. Can I visit a vet while travelling?
A. Pet Assure has veterinarians in all 50 states and Puerto Rico. If you move or are traveling, simply use the app to locate a veterinarian near your vacation spot or new home.
 
 
Q. How do I receive a discount?
A. You must confirm the provider is in the Pet Assure network before buying products or services. Present your membership card with the Pet Assure logo at the time of service to receive your discount and pay the discounted price.

A. A veterinarian may reduce or eliminate the discount on promotions or specials, food and flea products, routine boarding and grooming, services provided by a third-party and low-margin pharmaceuticals. Veterinarians are not required to discount non-medical services such as routine grooming and boarding, outsourced services such as blood work sent to a lab or an outside specialist, mileage fees, and products you take home such as medications and food. However, Pet Assure members get an additional 15% discount off the already discounted prices at www.PetCareRX.com on all ‎products, including pet food, prescriptions, flea & heartworm preventatives, and more. Please note: You cannot combine the discount with other discounts or service packages.
